PROJECT BASED
TRAINING
- If you are an
Organization that is willing to undertake the initiative to deliver
training to clients under specific training contracts to meet their
labour market needs.
MMF - HRDT Department can provide your Organization with financial support
towards the costs of delivering the training.
- Assistance can
be in way of Wages, Overhead and Administration.
- Your Organization
is eligible... if you are an Employer, Organization or Community Partner
that is willing and able to assist with the delivery of specific occupational
training that will enhance the labour market needs of the client.
What is Project-Based
Training?
- Project-Based
Training is a labour market program delivered by MMF - HRDT, through
delegation of a third party, that is willing to undertake the initiative
to deliver training to clients under specific training contracts to
meet their labour market needs.
What is the
objective of Project-Based Training?
- The objective
of Project-Based Training is to assist individuals facing labour market
difficulties to obtain specific occupational training to improve their
employability needs.
Who can apply?
- Community Groups/Organizations,
Community Partners, MMF Locals and Community Development Corporations.
What are
eligible costs?
- Some of the eligible
costs covered in the Project-Based Training project are: wages, participant
allowances, overhead - supplies, rent, travel, and any other related
costs associated with the delivery of service, regionally determined
and approved by the Local Management Board.
